TickWrite Software
The latest version of TickWrite is 6.0.2. In order to process the newly
acquired symbols, keep up with the latest split, dividend, and corporate
action information, and take advantage of the latest features, please
keep your version of TickWrite up to date.
If you are an existing TickWrite 5.x user and do not receive monthly
updates, it is not necessary to upgrade. However, TickWrite 6 has many
new features that may be very useful. During installation, you will
be asked if you wish to migrate your existing data to the new format.
This can be a lengthy process, but it is necessary in order to use TickWrite
6 with your existing data.
You will be prompted to save the installer file, 'TickWrite6Install.exe',
to a directory. Once it is downloaded, just go to that directory and
double-click the file to start the installation. We recommend using
the default settings.
Once the program is installed, the manual will be located in the working
directory (default is 'c:\TickWrite6\'). It is a .pdf file called 'TickWrite6_Manual.pdf'.
If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you may download
a free copy of Acrobat Reader from Adobe.
