Download TickWrite 7 Software

The latest version of TickWrite is 7.0. In order to process the newly acquired symbols, keep up with the latest split, dividend, and corporate action information, and take advantage of the latest features, please keep your version of TickWrite up to date.

You will be prompted to save the installer file to a directory. Once it is downloaded, just go to that directory and double-click the file to start the installation. We recommend using the default settings.

If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you may download a free copy of Acrobat Reader from Adobe.

TickWrite 5.x or 6.x Users: If you are an existing TickWrite 5.x or 6.x user, you should upgrade to TickWrite 7. Historical data and Jobs used in TickWrite 6.x must be converted to the new file format and naming conventions of TickWrite 7 before they can be used. Prior to migration, TickWrite 7 must be configured with locations for source data in the new format, or Deep History (see TickWrite 7 Manual: FIRST USE – 2. Setup – Preferences – Deep History). For update clients with large amounts of data, contact Tick Data to receive a refresh of your data in the new format on external media. In this case, data file conversion is unnecessary, but you may still wish to convert existing TickWrite 6 job files.
